Charlene Yvonne Johnson left this life to return to the open arms of her creator on April 7th 2023. Charlene was born on March 28, 1955 in Montgomery, AL.She was the only girl of seven children. her parents are the late Robert Johnson and Sylvia (Mahone) Johnson-Dawson
She is preceded in death by her grandmother Jimmie Mae (Mahone) Hamilton.
She accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Saviour at an early age, and affectionately called God “Daddy”.
Charlene loved to cook and invent new recipes for her loved ones. .
Cherishing Charlene's memory are her eight children; Nicole Johnson, Khadijah Johnson & Allah Lawrence, all of Florida. LaTosha (Kyle) Williams, Jonicka Johnson, Moses Johnson, Selisijah Johnson, Jonathan Johnson all of Montgomery, Alabama. Six brothers, Leon (late Patricia) Johnson of Florida, Jimmy (Linda) Johnson of South Carolina, James (late Betty) Dawson of Washington State, David Dawson of Hope Hull, AL, Martin (Rose) Dawson of Missouri, and Sherman (Erica) Dawson. Twenty-five loving grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and beloved friends.
