BRANTLEY, Brenda Faye a resident of Montgomery, Alabama transitioned Monday, January 01, 2024, in Montgomery, Alabama.Brenda Fay Brantley was born to the late Hilda Grace Brantley Tellis and Hodtric Robinson on August 27, 1960 in Montgomery Alabama. She attended John Patterson Elementary School and was proudly reared in the Trenholm Court Housing Community. As a child, Brenda received Christ into her life at Oak Street Holiness Church. She always acknowledged Jesus Christ as her personal savior and recently recommitted her faith through regular prayer calls and devotions through the outreach ministry of Mrs. Doris J. Boutte of Saint Martinville, Lousianna, a long time childhood friend. To her family, she was well loved and admired for her kindness and compassion. To her community, she was recognized for her unique personality and caring heart towards others. She often opened her home as a haven and extended benevolence to those she loved. Brenda would selflessly gave her time and love providing childcare services to support her friends and family in their times of need. Affectionately known as “Yoke”, Brenda was a beloved mother, sister, aunt, and devoted friend. She was preceded in death by eight maternal siblings, James Morris Tellis, Sarah Delores Tellis, Norma Yvonne Tellis, Carolyn Elaine Williams, Jerome Tellis, Laura Jean Wigfall, Dorothy Helen Tellis, and Anthony Lautree (Latreze) Tellis; three nephews, Undre Pompey, Christopher Wigfall, and Dontez DeShane Forte’; two paternal nephews, Hodtric Defelias Robinson and Eric LaShun Robinson. She leaves to cherish her memories two sons, Thaddeus Hodrick Brantley and Brandon Michael Brantley, Sr. both of Montgomery, Alabama; eight grandchildren, Miracle O’Shay Brantley, JaMichael Hall, Jeremy Keon Brantley, Brandon Michael Brantley, Jr., Z’Rhyia A’nekqua Brantley, Asia Mikayla Brantley, Li‘Jerricho Deshane Brantley, Promise Meleya Brantley all of Montgomery, Alabama; seven paternal siblings, Eranier Pitts, Alma Bennett, Deloris (Robert) Taylor, Georgia Pierce, Hodtric (Wanda) Robinson, Jr., Angela (Deon) Rader, Earnestine (Anthony) Womack, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.


Funeral service will be held Saturday, January 06, 2024 - 2:30pm at Greater Harvest Apostolic Church, 2830 Creative Street, Montgomery, Alabama 36110.  Visitation will be Friday, January 05, 2024 - 2pm-6pm at Magnolia Cremations & Funeral Services, 901 South McDonough Street, Montgomery, Alabama 36104.  Burial will follow in Brassell Cemetery, 965 Charlie Brassell Place, Montgomery, Alabama, 36117.
