Barry Carlton Sands

Barry Carlton Sands, born on December 7, 1962, in Clarke County, Alabama, passed away on March 12, 2025, at Baptist Hospital South in Montgomery, Alabama. He was 62 years old.

Barry dedicated his professional life to the printing and marketing industry, where his hard work and determination were evident to all who knew him. Outside of his career, he had a passion for prepping, building, and cooking, always ready to lend a hand or share a meal.

He is survived by his children: daughter Jordan Sands; son Skylar Sands and daughter-in-law Kristen Sands; and grandchildren: Oaklea and Hartlyn Flanagan, Harlie, Kaidyn, and Kaylie Sands. He also leaves behind his sister Louiseza Moore and brother-in-law Bill Moore, as well as brother-in-law Milton Marshall.

Barry was preceded in death by his parents, Marjorie and Charles D. Sands, and his sisters, Connie Seymour and Jenny Marshall.

A memorial service will be held on March 25, 2025, at Rocky Mount Weddings and Events, located at 2364 Rocky Mount Road, Prattville, Alabama, 36066

Barry will be remembered for his loyalty, generosity, and the unwavering support he provided to his family and friends. His legacy of hard work and kindness will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing him.
