Annette Flora Schmidt, 78, resident of Pike Road, Alabama, passed away on Wednesday, April 16, 2025. She will be cremated by Magnolia Cremations and Funeral Services. There will not be a memorial service. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thurl and Lorene Hickey, 5 brothers, Timothy Hickey, James Hickey, Larry Hickey, Paul Hickey, and John Hickey; 2 sisters, Elaine Stewart and Jane Belflower. She is survived by her husband, Clayton Schmidt, 4 brothers, David (Brenda Kay) Hickey of Concord, Gary (Mary Ann) Hickey of Oak Grove, Joel (Judy) Hickey of Providence, and Howard Hickey of Alliance; 1 sister, Norma (Ronnie) Collier of McCalla; 2 daughters, Stacey Cargile and Kimberly (Todd) Ferguson of Panama City, FL; and numerous nieces and nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
