Anne “Dede” Houck Harbin, age 89, passed away peacefully on March 5, 2026, at her home in Montgomery, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her beloved grandson, Timothy “TJ” Esco, and her parents, Anne Cleaver Houck and H.B. Houck.
She is survived by her loving children, Michael Harbin and Marianne (Tim) Esco. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: Michael Harbin (Lizzie), Anna Coogler (Justin), Jessica Borgus (Kyle), and Christine Hudson (Michael); and her great-grandchild, Delilah. She is also survived by a special friend, Bill Branch.
Dede faithfully served her Lord throughout her life and loved her church dearly. Her faith, kindness, and devotion to family will be remembered by all who knew her.
Visitation will be held on March 14,2026 at 10:00 a.m., with the funeral service following at 11:00 a.m. at The Church of the Holy Comforter , 2911 Woodley Road, Montgomery, Alabama. Family and friends are invited to attend and celebrate her life. Following the services family will receive friends at her home , 2094 Myrtlewood Dr Montgomery Alabama. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her family and friends.
